Mohanlal-Sathyan Anthikad's latest malayalam movie Ammukutty ammayude Ajayan is progressing at Palakkad and after an year Mohanlal is playing the role of a Farmer in this movie. After Ivide Swargamanu, Mohanlal is playing a farmer and will be wearing only 'Mundu and cotton shirt'. His character name is Ajayan a man who had lived in many towns but has now settled in a remote village as a farmer.

Ajayan moved to the village to look after his ageing mother Ammukutty Amma (old timer Sheela) and to get her love and the nostalgia of his growing up years. He has a deep bond with his friends like toddy tapper Manian (Asokan), Coconut merchant Mathai (Innocent), Sub Inspector Balachandran (Biju Menon)
and his lady love Sunanda (Padmapriya).
The film has music by Ilayaraja and camera by Venu. It will be a typical Sathyan Anthikad type of sentimental feel good film.
